THE REAL ARMOR OF GOD
This author has forever listened to Christian teachers attempting to teach a lesson of Paul, regarding “putting on the whole armour of God,” found in Ephesians 6:11. Oh, but they try and they fail every time because our Christian leaders always seem to place the words of Paul AHEAD of the Words of Christ. It’s true! Satan has deceived them this much! We shall demonstrate, here in this letter, that one can never understand the words of Paul until one places the Word of God BEFORE the words of Paul. For Paul was just a man.
You shall learn here, quickly, that one cannot “put on” anything that Christ possesses! Satan wants you to believe that you can, but Christ shall only “give” it to you once you have fulfilled His spoken requirements. Here are Paul’s words:
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Did you notice that Satan was the entire point of this verse? Well, Satan has been the entire point of this author’s last several webpages. So, we shall add another one here.
One should note . . . that the first two words of “put on” only came from one Greek word, “endyo.” You can find this word in Strong’s Concordance as G1746. Please click “here” to see how this word is normally used in Scripture. (Link opens in a new window.) Scroll down just a bit and see how this word was normally used. Normally, it was used to “put something on.” But all of those instances were various peoples, or mankind. When it refers to anything from God, or Heaven, it means to “clothe yourself with.” A better term for today would be to “wear.” Just wear it after Christ gives it to you! This will all be explained below, by way of Scripture.

The following is an edited excerpt from our next webpage, titled “Requiem for a Church.” However, this author feels that this particular topic requires its own webpage. While the bulk of this letter shall come from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, this story actually has its foundation in the Book of Job.

This author has made no secret of his feelings toward the letters of Paul. Not that Paul was wrong, honestly, but that the words of Paul are not, and will never be Scripture. This should mean something to all Christians! On another webpage here, we demonstrate that our LORD’s Scriptures are Satan’s Achilles Heel because they come from the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan is forbidden from changing, or even denying, any Scriptures that our LORD has written. (We prove that, by way of Scripture, on our other webpage.) We also have a webpage here, about Paul, that demonstrates how Satan truly has changed some of Paul’s written words. But that is not Paul’s fault. It is the fault of most of our Christian leaders’ weaknesses: two in particular, named Westcott and Hort. They are addressed on our webpage regarding “Two Bibles.” This letter shall demonstrate how to keep Paul’s words in perspective, while ALWAYS placing the Word of God FIRST. In the last few letters, written by this author, we have emphasized the importance of being baptized according to the Word of God, found in Matthew 28. Please keep this in mind, especially regarding Matthew 28:20 below:
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Yes, this author keeps harping on those verses, and a few others, here in these last few letters because only “that proverbial handful” of Christians today TRULY have “Christ with them always, even unto the end of the world.” (This author can only imagine that no Christian has ever wondered just why Christ would actually address the “end of the world” in this verse regarding baptism.) Well, this letter is “all about” obtaining that incredible gift of Christ in your life and in this evil world we currently live in. However, if you do not know what that gift is, exactly, then Satan will gladly teach you what he “desires” you to believe. Or, quite honestly, our Christian leaders of today, shall do that job for him.
That is enough regarding today’s world, because the whole armor of God actually begins with the Book of Job!
In the first few verses of Job, Christ teaches this entire world of exactly what that phrase means to people who obey His Words which have been sent down to them. The verses below are this world’s best description of what we receive when we obey Christ:
CRITICAL NOTE by jpw regarding these verses! All words that are underlined refer to the efforts that Job put forth regarding his worship of God. All words that are bolded refer to Christ’s reward to Job, BECAUSE of Job’s efforts.
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job 1:2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
Job 1:3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
Job observed all of Christ’s known Laws, in those days, and went so far as to provide offerings for his entire household, just in case any of them fell short, on their own. Job was a very generous man, in that this was not even required of him: he loved his LORD that much. This is how righteous Job was. Do you disagree? Read on and see just what it means to have “Christ with you, always,” referenced in Matthew 28:20 above:
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
(Please remember that the underlined portions here described Job’s efforts which clearly show his love for Christ, his Creator. This is quite significant! For we are about to see Christ’s RESPONSE towards Job’s efforts.)
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
What an incredible Truth of God! My dearest friends . . . never, ever forget Job 1:10! This is a tremendous lesson from Christ to this world, especially regarding this evil world we are currently living in, here in mankind’s “last days.” If we obey every letter of Christ’s Laws and Commandments, as Job clearly did in the underlined sections, then Satan cannot touch us! Paul taught of this very promise from Christ, but nary a Christian teacher, today, understands ANY of these words that Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:11, regarding this very “armour of God.” We shall get to Ephesians 6:11 later because those words of Paul ONLY DESCRIBE CHRIST’S REWARDS. They do not describe those efforts that are required from us, by Christ, our Creator.
AN EXTREMELY CRITICAL SIDE NOTE by jpw:
Never, but ever, forget Job 1:10! Paul taught this world about putting on the “whole armour of God” in Ephesians, chapter 6. Christian leaders have forever gotten this wrong and the world, today, is paying the price for their sins of long ago! Why? Because Christ’s Truths in this matter requires THEM to return US to those commands which Christ gave to Moses. (Reference Matthew 28:20, below.) The FULL TRUTH OF GOD here regarding Paul’s “whole armour of God” actually begins with the first verse of Ephesians, chapter 5! (We shall quote these verses shortly.) This means especially that FIRST VERSE! Paul’s lengthy, and tremendous, lesson only culminates in Ephesians 6:11 – 14. (Also quoted shortly.) This is a classic example of Christians desiring their dessert without finishing Christ’s meat-and-potatoes: served to mankind in our earlier days! Adventists! Yours might be this world’s last hope regarding these last days. Please, please learn about the “Whole Armour of God.” PAUL’S LESSON HERE BEGINS WITH EPHESIANS 5:1. Paul’s lesson only ends with Christ’s Gift described in Ephesians 6:11 – 14!
My dearest friends, if you desire the whole armor of God, then learn the whole lesson of Christ here!
Christians! The only solution to your problems of today is found in Ephesians, chapter 5: a “chapter” rarely taught by any Christian leader of today! Will you succeed? Will you follow the words of Paul?
Again, let us reiterate Christ’s own words regarding this entire matter:
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Remember, that the word “Amen” means “So be it” when Christ speaks it. (Strong’s Concordance G281, link opens in a new window.) And when our Creator speaks this word, one can consider it to be a separate covenant being “offered” to mankind. “Offered?” Well yes, to those who CHOOSE to accept it and hold up their end of His offer! In other words, when our Creator speaks this word, HE MEANS IT! Also, our Christian leaders of today teach that Christ’s covenants to mankind are a gift to us. No! A covenant is an agreement that all sides solemnly pledge to uphold.
Returning to Job’s story above, Satan complained that Christ had built an impenetrable “hedge” around Job, so as to protect Job from all evils: meaning Satan of course. Please understand that Satan was also complaining to Christ that he could not possibly touch Job because Christ was with Job! Now, read Matthew 28:20, above, just once again and see exactly what Christ’s baptism does for us! No, not the getting wet part! The other Baptism! The one where we observe all things that Christ has commanded to this world, since the day He created this world! Job did this! And any person still breathing today can also do this. It is a fairly simple decision, quite honestly. All one has to do is to “decide” just what part Christ shall take in their lives: this is what Job did. Oh, this is such a very simple decision. In fact, this is precisely why every person has been placed upon this earth, which Christ created: so that Christ, and His Father, our LORD, can see who has demonstrated that they will be able to “further God’s cause” in our LORD’s Kingdom of Heaven.
LIFE TRULY IS THIS SIMPLE!
FIRST . . . OUR REQUIREMENTS, BY CHRIST:
Ephesians 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Ephesians 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Ephesians 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Ephesians 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
Ephesians 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
Ephesians 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
AND FINALLY . . . OUR REWARD!
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Now, can you understand the first few verses of the Book of Job? Remember that this is not something that you can just “grab hold of” and put on! Only Christ can give it to you, regardless of what any Christian teacher says to the contrary. That Greek word for “put on” actually means to just “wear it:” whenever that Greek word refers to any gift from Christ.
Many will say, “Oh, but that is so difficult . . .”
Do you really think this? Please remember back . . . when you first met your beloved husband or your dear wife; and remember how you literally (and happily) performed back-flips, trying to please them. Looking back: those might have been some of the best days of your life. Was it hard? Yes. Are you sorry? Hopefully not. Life was not Designed (by Christ) to be easy; rather life was designed to be completely satisfying for those who desire that life which He Designed. And yes, it is! But life was not Designed (by Christ) to be easy. We must come to understand the magnitude of the reward which Christ offers for our efforts! (Especially considering this evil world which we currently live in.) Quite honestly, there is no comparison. You can lose to Satan and find that “second death” detailed in Revelation; or you can work towards obtaining an ETERNAL future in Heaven, thereby leaving “death” behind you forever. After this, you will never see any “death” again. So, once again, please find Christ’s lesson regarding Job:
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Does this still seem so difficult? Job merely made a simple decision (that he loved God more than anything in this world) and it paid off for him.
My friends, Satan wants you to lower your guard. Satan does not want you reading God’s Scriptures. Satan wants you to find that “easy street.” In this, Satan knows he will then own you! Over the centuries, Satan has won over more than 99.9% of our Christian leaders: one can safely use Sunday worship, graven images, and unclean meats as your “instant compass” regarding this truth. Oh, Satan is so very cunning and sly: even the best of us are but mere pawns to him. But do not let the false teachings of your Christian leaders bring you down to their level of denying nearly every command that Christ has sent down to this world which He created for His Father, our LORD! The Word of God is not found on the lips of any person; the Word of God is not found in the words of this author: the Word of God is found only in His Scriptures! And yes, that requires an effort also: it means you have to spend time with the Word of God.
Many will say, “Oh, but that is so difficult . . .”
All of this is precisely what Christ is recording in His Book of Life, and we shall all be judged by way of our DEEDS and efforts, which are being recorded in that Book. (All efforts qualify as DEEDS in life.) Notice that Christ never states that we shall be judged by our obedience to any religious leaders! For Christ commanded our religious leaders to “merely feed His sheep!” He never told our religious leaders to lead, push, pull, nor otherwise direct His sheep’s lives and personal decisions. Christ truly desires His sheep to digest His Food according to their own abilities and in their own chosen times: THIS is one factor that shall guide His Judgments on Judgment Day.
Please read every single word that Paul wrote above because Paul got EVERYTHING RIGHT!
It is merely our Christian leaders, of today, who have EVERYTHING WRONG!
